Application Support Engineer 7/ Strasbourg

We are looking for:

APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER

Type of employment: B2B CONTRACT

Location: Strasbourg (France)

Work model: ON SITE

Temporary employment: PROJECT-BASED CONTRACT


Your role:  

  • Taking full end-to-end responsibility for providing application support to the customer;
  • Finding permanent (or sustainable) solutions, or workarounds to incidents;
  • If applicable, creating problem reports and / or change requests and linking them to incidents;
  • Describing the solutions and confirming whether they will eventually lead to restoring service operations;
  • Creating specific input required for incident reviews to be conducted by the customer, as well as continuous Knowledge Management (KM) feeds related to incidents;
  • Participating in standby/ on-call duty.

Your profile:

  • Java: development language
  • Spring Boot: micro-services framework
  • Distributed Systems
  • gRPC
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Capability to absorb new information quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure (time, workload, customer)
    • Demonstrated supportive attitude towards the customer with strong SLA Focus
  • Very good organizational skills:
    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks as well as maintain the work schedule for other co-workers
    • Structured way of working
  • Well-bred social behaviour
  • EU nationality mandatory
  • Availability for EU Secret PSC is required for the function.
